What makes us unique?
At Money Smart Kids, we do more than teach children about money—we help them build the confidence and life skills needed to make smart financial choices.
Our approach is designed specifically for young learners, combining practical education with engaging experiences that make financial concepts easy to understand and remember.
Learning Through Stories and Characters
Children connect best with stories. Our programmes use engaging characters such as Detective Penny, Inspector Pound, Digi Dana, and Savvy the Saving Pig to turn financial learning into an adventure. These characters help bring money concepts to life in a way children enjoy and relate to.
Real-Life Money Skills
We focus on the everyday financial skills that children will actually use, including saving, budgeting, understanding spending choices, and recognising the value of money. Our activities help children see how money works in the real world.
Age-Appropriate Learning
Our resources are carefully designed to match the way children learn at different stages, from early primary school through to older students beginning to make independent financial decisions.
Engaging and Interactive
We believe children learn best by doing. Our workshops and resources include games, challenges, discussions, and hands-on activities that make learning memorable and fun.
Supporting Families and Schools
Financial education works best when children receive consistent messages at home and at school. That’s why we design our resources to support parents, teachers, and communities in building positive money habits together.
Accessible for All Children
As a not-for-profit organisation, our goal is to make financial education accessible to as many children as possible, regardless of their background or circumstances.
